Product Description
Essentially a scaled-down motocross bike with an electric motor, the Razor
MX500 Dirt Rocket is ideal for teens who want to enjoy the dirt bike experience without breaking the
bank. The Dirt Rocket's powerful 500-watt motor carries riders at speeds of up to 17 miles per hour--more than
enough for most bumpy dirt trails--and can cruise for up to 10 miles on a single charge. At the same time, the
bike's dual suspension and riser handlebars deliver a smooth and comfortable ride regardless of the terrain, so
your teen's fun isn't restricted to flat pavement. As a final bonus, the Dirt Rocket's variable-speed, chain-driven
motor is extremely quiet, a marked contrast to traditional gas-powered motocross bikes.
Other details include large pneumatic knobby tires for a maximum power transfer, authentic dirt bike frame
geometry, a retractable kickstand, and a double-crown fork. The MX500, which requires roughly eight hours to fully
charge, is recommended for ages 14 and over and offers a maximum weight limit of 175 pounds. It's also backed by a
90-day warranty.

We purchased this electric dirt bike for our son's 13th birthday and it has been a big hit! The bike weighs
about 105 lbs. so the most difficult part was getting it out of the box for me to do the minor assembly. Parents
don't have to worry that their kids won't get exercise because they have ditched their bicycles because it only
runs 45-60 minutes on a charge and takes at least 4 hours to recharge. This doesn't bother my son or his friends as
the 45 minutes seems to be enough time to have fun before they are off to something else. I would highly recommend
this for a 13 year old that is stuck between the "toy" age and the teen "clothing" age. In two more years he will
be in drivers education so we felt this would teach him some of those basic skills of driving.

Bought this for my 11 year old son and he is on it everyday. Note on sizing - I would disregard the recommended
ages provided by Razor - I wouldn't recommend this size for anyone older than 11 - it would just be too small. I
used to ride dirt bikes when I was a kid and was a bit skeptical w/ an electric. But he has put put this thing
through the ringer and it has performed very well. Only glitch we encountered was the rear brake locked at one
point but it was a relatively easy fix. Overall very pleased.

This product is excellent. I clocked the bike going around 16 MPH with my son (80 lbs) in it. All the neighbor
kids now line up to use it pretty much every afternoon when we go out, a total of 8 kids ride it every time. The
battery lasts for at least 1 to 2 hours, and the most we have been able to run it is about 5 miles total. Bike is
worth the money and I am satisfied with what I got. I would like a bit more torque as the bike slows down in the
grass, but still goes fast enough. There are no hills where I leave, so I can not comment how much it slows down
climbing hills.
